I’m feeling a need for space. Mental space and physical space.
We have people in our house doing our bathroom at the moment, and the bathroom is right next to my office. It’s disrupted my routine, and it’s taken away my quiet space and quiet time.
So I’m having lots of thoughts and ideas I can’t properly do anything with or think through further. As I’m currently redefining some of my work again, and also trying to set some personal intentions, it’s very frustrating.
I am doing my best to find little bits of space in other ways, and I have left the house to go to cafes a few times. And a walk around the block or into nearby fields gives me 10 minutes of head space too.
I guess I just have to accept that this is temporary, that in another week I will have my space back. A bit like school holidays disrupting the routine and changing the balance, it’ll change.
And in the meantime just grab onto those little bits of space whenever I can.
