The beauty of being a freelancer is the ability to start all over again. But it’s also scary.
I’ve just signed up to do a coaching qualification.
I’m going to remove some services from my website and probably also delete some social media accounts.
And I have no idea where my next client or piece of work will come from.
All I know is that I have recently learned that I should slow down and listen to myself more. Listen to how I feel instead of charging ahead with new ideas all the time. Give myself the space to decide whether something is right for me or not – whether it’s a big thing or a small thing.
I’m going to write more regularly while I’m in this unknown phase. Because writing always leads to clarity for me. And because sometimes my writing helps other people too – whether I know it or not.
Writing, learning something new, and just having chats with new people and existing friends and contacts.
So it’s starting again in some ways, but starting from a base of all the stuff I’ve learned about me and my business, rather than being completely new to freelance life.
Scary – and exciting!
